Motorists' Party MP Filip Turek says he has already prepared a lawsuit against President Petr Pavel, who refused to appoint him as a minister. He stated this on Monday when he arrived at a meeting of the coalition council. According to the MP, the current situation, where the Castle has tense relations with the Černín Palace, is to blame for the president, who he says "descended into a political fight."
Turek spoke about filing a lawsuit against President Petr Pavel on Friday, January 9, in Kiev, where he was part of a delegation led by Foreign Minister Petr Macinka (Motorists), but he subsequently did not have time to draft it. Now, according to him, he already has a proposal prepared by lawyers and wants to discuss it with coalition partners.
"I had time to read the preparation from the lawyers. It looks quite good, but I still want to discuss it with my partners," said Turek, adding that this is a lawsuit for the protection of personality, not a lawsuit over jurisdiction, as some of his supporters think.
Turk is annoyed that the president reminded him of his numerous lapses , which he used to present himself not only on social networks , which "deeply touched" Turk, who defends himself with a specific sense of humor.
"The president accused me of having long-term adoration of one of the worst regimes of the 20th century. We all know that it was black humor," said Turek.
"I am a person of integrity and have done nothing of which I should be ashamed," the MP previously stated.
The president is said to have descended into political combat
On Monday, Turek also commented on the case of text messages in which Foreign Minister Macinka tried to pressure Hrad to appoint Turek, otherwise the minister would "fight brutally" with the president. The president called it an attempt at blackmail.
"The situation arose thanks to the president, not the foreign minister," said Turek.
According to Turk, the president "descended into a political fight." While the head of state described the reports formulated in this way as blackmail, according to the honorary president of the Motorists, it was "standard political pressure."
,
Tens of thousands of people gathered in Prague and other cities on Sunday afternoon to support the president and reject the foreign minister's style of conduct.
The opposition has called an extraordinary meeting of the Chamber of Deputies for Tuesday, at which it wants to vote on a vote of no confidence in the coalition government of ANO, SPD and Motorists of Prime Minister Andrej Babiš (ANO). The coalition government has a majority of 108 votes in the Chamber of Deputies.
