Minister of the Environment Igor Červený (Motoristé) met with the directors of national parks in the Czech Republic on Thursday morning. The main topic of the meeting was their financing. The meeting was also attended by the government's representative for climate and the Green Deal, Filip Turek. According to him, the ministry definitely does not want to put national parks on the back burner.

The Ministry of the Environment will hold a meeting with the directors of all four national parks in the Czech Republic on Thursday. The subject will be financing, said Filip Turek, the government's climate commissioner (for Motorists), in an interview on ČT24 moderated by Barbora Kroužková. He also spoke to the new Minister of the Environment, Igor Červený (Motorists).

Motorists to soon introduce a new candidate for Minister of the Environment, announced Filip Turek on Instagram. According to Turek, the new head of the department should work alongside him at the Ministry of the Environment (MŽP). Prime Minister Andrej Babiš (ANO) stated that the name of the new candidate will be announced on Monday. Tomio Okamura, chairman of the coalition partner SPD, said that the head of the Motorists, Petr Macinka, had informed him of the change.
