Filip Turek

Filip Turek is a Member of the European Parliament and honorary president of the Motorists for Themselves party.
His lifelong interest in cars has translated into roles as a collector, entrepreneur and racer, and he is now focused on fighting harmful EU regulations affecting passenger transport.
In 2024, as a newcomer to politics, he achieved exceptional success in the European elections, where as the leader of the candidate he received over 152,000 preferential votes - a level of support usually only experienced leaders of major parties have.
As a conservative, Filip Turek advocates for preserving the sovereignty of states without foreign interference.

Motorists for Themselves is a political party defending the interests of motorists and freedom of movement. It fights against excessive EU regulations, such as bans on combustion engines and high emission standards, and promotes accessible transport.
It supports Czech industry, reducing bureaucracy and preserving motoring traditions. The party promotes conservative values, the sovereignty of the Czech Republic, freedom of speech and criticizes the Green Deal, which it claims is damaging the economy. It rejects illegal migration and conflicts.
It organizes regional meetings and various events for the discussion of current topics. In 2025, it is preparing an election program with an emphasis on regional representation and citizen involvement. The honorary president and MEP is Filip Turek, the chairman is Petr Macinka.
