Turek's harsh reaction to the attack on Pekarová Adamová near Moravec. Questioning her mental health and giving a harsh recommendation

Markéta Pekarová Adamová laughed at Filip Turek in Václav Moravec's Questions. According to her, it was a good thing that Petr Pavel did not appoint him as foreign minister, because he was at a meeting at the Iranian embassy. Turek did not like her words. In a statement to eXtra.cz, he doubted her mental health.

After leaving politics, Markéta Pekarová Adamová is not afraid of strong statements. She demonstrated this on Sunday in the program Otázky Václava Moravec. There, she praised Petr Pavel's refusal to appoint Filip Turek as a minister. "When Mr. Radek Vondráček says that the president actually did not do well by not appointing Mr. Turek as a minister, would we be better off now, when the conflict (between Iran and Israel) has flared up, if we had a person as foreign minister who went to the Iranian embassy? Would that be good for the security of our country?" asked the former head of the Chamber of Deputies.

"Besides, we should probably ask ourselves now what he was doing there at the time. And in this case, the president is clearly defending the constitution. We should all do that," added Pekarová Adamová. She was referring to the case when the honorary chairman of the Motorists met with the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in November 2024.

The MP's reaction

However, Turek does not see anything wrong with this step. "Ms. Pekarová should see a psychologist, I cannot imagine what a person must have in their head when they think that a fifty-minute courtesy and official visit by an MEP who has been assigned a position in the delegation for Iran in the European Parliament has an impact on the performance of the minister's duties," the MP told eXtra.cz .
