MEP Filip Turek has kicked off the final stage of his election campaign with a clear goal: to be visible, listen to people, and offer a conservative alternative based on responsibility, security, and economic freedom. Ahead of the elections, he plans to make over 260 stops across the Central Bohemian Region, where he is running as the lead candidate for the Motorists for Themselves party.

“Central Bohemia is my home and also the heart of the Czech Republic’s automotive industry—an industry made highly vulnerable by Brussels. Through my work in the European Parliament, I am saving the car industry, stopping the Green Deal, overturning the migration pact, and lowering taxes. That is my agenda for this election as well. I am glad that the reactions from people show me my work has meaning,” says Turek.

The campaign will conclude in Mladá Boleslav, where the MEP also plans to cast his vote—supporting the hub of the Czech automotive industry and making it clear that he will continue to defend the sector’s interests once Motorists for Themselves enter the Chamber of Deputies. Just as in the European Parliament, where he has been successfully negotiating a change in the EU’s stance on the ban of combustion engines.

This week, Turek will “take a detour” to Brussels, where he will, among other things, participate in a debate of MEPs for CNN Prima News. “There too I will defend Czech interests and draw attention to dysfunctional regulations that are stifling not only the European automotive industry,” he noted.

Immediately upon his return, supporters of the right and of motoring will be able to meet him again in Central Bohemia. He will head to places such as Kladno, and over the weekend he will travel to support party leaders in other regions. He will meet voters in Olomouc, Hradec Králové, and Brno, where over the weekend he will present the party’s program focused on lower taxes, protection of industry, and strengthening security.

His travels are accompanied by many supporters of the automotive and motorsport communities who share his passion for freedom of movement, technical innovation, and fair conditions for drivers. A striking feature of the campaign is the iconic Airstream bearing Filip Turek’s face, serving both as a mobile refreshment stand and a place for informal meetings with voters.

“The campaign is intense, just as it should be. I want to talk to people face-to-face—not only from billboards. Whether it’s about taxes, security, or the Green Deal, solutions must come from reality, not from Brussels offices,” Turek adds.

Turek is the “super-leader” of Motorists for Themselves, and citizens can therefore see his face not only in person on the campaign trail but also on most of the party’s billboards, which clearly communicate the goals and values of the movement.
